Memorial Services for Chantal Salkey

Location:
El Rio

San Francisco, CA, 94110

It is with great sadness that we tell you that our friend, our promoter, our FAMILY, Chantal Salkey passed away last week unexpectedly. Chantal was a pioneer in the lesbian dance club scene who brought you such clubs as Club Red, Raw, Backstreet, and most importantly MANGO, the first lesbian T-Dance in the Bay. This loss is immeasureable to most of us who knew and loved her. Her passion, devotion, unwavering loyalty, jamaican sensibilities, kindness and most of all, her friendship will be what we will miss the most.
