On Monday, October 26, 2009, 7pm at the Palace of Fine Arts, Joe Dulude II and Lora Powell present Defying Inequality: The San Francisco Concert. The San Francisco Arts Community as well as special guest celebrities from near and far will be coming together to put on an evening of song, dance and awareness for Marriage Equality.

Proceeds from the evening benefit Marriage Equality USA and Garden State Equality.

New Hampshire: State Number 6

New Hampshire became the 6th state to come to its senses and support marriage equality today. The State Senate passed the marriage equality bill this morning, followed by the House this afternoon. The Governor signed it, so effective January 1, 2010, same gendered New Hampshire-ites (New Hampshires? New Hampshirians?) will be able to get married to each other. Unlike a certain other state I could mention, but I'm not bitter.
