The LGBT Community Supports Oscar Grant on Oct. 23

On October 23rd, the ILWU is shutting down the ports of Oakland to demand justice for Oscar Grant.

Over 50 organizations have endorsed this event, and I know that there are a lot of LGBT people who are included in that. But it is time, as one, that our entire community collectively stands up to demand justice for Oscar Grant on Oct. 23rd!

In order to express our solidarity on the 23rd, I ask that you please try to wear Baby Blue - Oscar's favorite color.

I never knew Oscar personally, but I've been working with his family and other organizations for some time now to help further this cause.

I run IamOscarGrant.org - and I also help out with the Oscar Grant Foundation.

Anyways, my main goal is for people to attend, but even if you cannot, please help us spread the word. I think it would be awesome to set up a page that depicts the numerous amount of people in our community who truly support this cause...

So with that being said, JUSTICE FOR OSCAR GRANT! And let's put an end to police brutality!
