One of the last bastion's of San Francisco's historic bamboo bar culture, the Fairmont has the incredulous idea of either closing or moving the Tonga Room. Since my parents went on one of their early dates here, it is only fitting that GQB makes a showing once more before the wrecking ball falls. So dig out your gaudiest Hawaiian shirt and pith cap as we possibly bid the Tonga Room farewell. Get there on MUNI!
