Fun in Girls' Shorts 1

Post-apocalyptic bunkers, hair salons, train stations, and carnivals –
Frameline's newest short film compilation proves that lesbians are
everywhere! Fun in Girls' Shorts brings together six of Frameline's
best lesbian shorts from recent years, including several award-winning
festival favorites and marks the highly anticipated home video debut
of Guinevere Turner's Hung, which has screened at more than 80 film
festivals around the world.
Additional award highlights from this collection include a Planet Out
Short Movie Award for Airplanes, which was also named the Best Student
Short at the Provincetown International Film Festival. Hi Maya has
been honored as the Best Short Film at the Seattle Gay & Lesbian Film
Festival, and Outside was named the Best Asian American Film by the
Director's Guild of America.

Center Women Present is a queer women's initiative started at the San
Francisco LGBT Community Center, serving all self-identified women,
including lesbians, queer, bisexual, and transgender community
members. The program intends to address women's community issues
through volunteer-led projects and is shaped primarily by input of
community members, with assistance of The Center's staff.
