This is a class for self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people* who want to develop their singing voices in a fun group setting. This intermediate-level class is for people who consider themselves singers, whether or not they have performance experience. Participants should generally be able to stay in key and hold their part against a harmony part in a group. Previous musical instruction or an ability to read music are not required. We will explore singing in harmony, solo song performance, beginning improvisation, and singing both with instrumental accompaniment and a cappella.
