New Hampshire: State Number 6

Posted by gwen
Jun 3rd, 3:18pm
New Hampshire became the 6th state to come to its senses and support marriage equality today. The State Senate passed the marriage equality bill this morning, followed by the House this afternoon. The Governor signed it, so effective January 1, 2010, same gendered New Hampshire-ites (New Hampshires? New Hampshirians?) will be able to get married to each other. Unlike a certain other state I could mention, but I'm not bitter.
